Molise is the second-smallest Italian region, after Aosta Valley. Located in southern Italy, it is less known and less visited.

The regional capital is Campobasso, known for Piazza San Leonardo and Castello Monforte. In Isernia, you can visit the San Pietro Cathedral and the archaeological park. Four towns in Molise (Fornelli, Frosolone, Oratino, and Sepino) are counted among the most beautiful small towns in Italy.
