Throughout Italy, from north to south, there are several hundred amusement parks of different types - from theme and adventure parks to water parks and safari-style zoos, where you can drive through to see animals in the wild.
Amusement parks are a great way to spend time on a vacation with children, but many of them also prove to be just as attractive for adults.
Amusement parks in Italy are part of the Parchi Permanenti Italiani Association, which includes some of the best-known parks, such as Gardaland (on the shores of Lake Garda), Mirabilandia (near Ravenna), Aquafan in Riccione, Italia in miniatura near Rimini, Zoomarine and MagicLand (in the vicinity of Rome), the Caribe Bay Water Park (in Lido di Jesolo, near Venice), Leolandia (the children's park located between Milan and Bergamo), the Le Caravelle water park in Liguria, Etnaland in Sicily (the largest park in Southern Italy), and many others.
