Gardaland Amusement Park (2026 Schedule and Ticket Prices)
Gardaland is the most popular and visited amusement park in Italy, as well as one of the oldest and most famous in Europe, having first opened its doors in 1975. The Gardaland Resort includes Gardaland Park, the Sea Life Aquarium, Legoland Water Park, Miniland, and three themed hotels. You can enjoy a multi-day vacation right at the heart of the resort or visit as a day trip from one of the many nearby destinations.
Where is Gardaland?
The Gardaland amusement park is situated in the town of Castelnuovo del Garda, in the Veneto region (on the border with Lombardy), on the shores of Lake Garda.
The nearest airport is Verona.
Other airports located somewhat nearby are the airport in Bologna, two of the airports near Milan (Bergamo and Linate Airport), as well as the airports near Venice (Marco Polo Airport and the Treviso airport).
On the map below, you can see where Gardaland is located (purple icon) relative to nearby airports (red icon with a plane).

How to Get to Gardaland?
The easiest way to reach Gardaland is by renting a car from your arrival airport. If you book a vacation package that includes tickets and a stay at one of the resort's three themed hotels, you will have preferential parking rates. If you are visiting for the day, parking is available for a flat rate of €10 per car, per day (when purchased online in advance).
Alternatively, you can use local transport. The nearest train station is Peschiera del Garda, located just 2 km from the park. From the station to the park, you can take the free shuttle bus, which operates on days when Gardaland is open. The bus runs every 30 minutes, and the journey time from the station to the park is only 5 minutes. The first run takes place 30 minutes before the park opens, and the last run is 30 minutes after closing.
You can reach Gardaland relatively easily from the following cities:
- Verona: by train or bus (see the article How to Get from Verona to Gardaland)
- Milan: by direct train to Peschiera del Garda or bus (for details, see the article How to Get from Milan to Gardaland)
- Venice: by direct train to Peschiera del Garda or with a change in Verona (see the article How to Get from Venice to Gardaland)
- Bologna: by train or bus (see the article How to Get from Bologna to Gardaland)
- Bergamo: by direct bus from the airport or train (see the article on How to Get from Bergamo to Gardaland)
What does Gardaland Resort Include?
To understand what types of tickets or packages you want, you should first know that Gardaland Resort consists of the following:
- Gardaland Amusement Park (most visitors buy tickets for this)

- Miniland (inside Legoland Water Park)
- Sea Life Aquarium (10 minutes from the park)
- Three hotels (Hotel Gardaland, Hotel Gardaland Magic, and Hotel Gardaland Adventure) located about 800m away from the park - at these, you can buy just accommodation, getting park tickets separately, or you can buy a package that includes accommodation, breakfast, parking, and tickets to Gardaland.
Inside Gardaland Park, there are several bars and restaurants, a pizzeria, and fast-food stalls.

Gardaland Hotels
If you're heading to Gardaland with the kids and want to stay right in the heart of the action, choosing a themed hotel is a great move. You can typically book a package that includes bed and breakfast, hotel parking, and park entry tickets for one or more days.
The Gardaland Resort features three 4-star themed hotels, located about 800m from the amusement park. During the summer, the Blue Lagoon swimming pool is open to guests, and a free shuttle bus runs directly from the hotels to the park entrance.
Gardaland Hotel is the oldest and largest hotel in the complex. It consists of four pavilions surrounding an inner garden. Out of its 247 rooms, 36 are specially themed. It features the Wonder Bar, the Wonder Restaurant Buffet, and you'll likely run into the park's mascot, Prezzemolo, right at the hotel.
Gardaland Adventure Hotel offers 200 rooms designed in four distinct styles: Arctic, Arabian, Jungle, and Wild West. Even the dining is an experience here, as the Tutankhamon Restaurant is decorated like an Egyptian temple.
Gardaland Magic Hotel features 128 rooms dedicated to all things mystical. The three main themes here are the Magic Crystal, the Enchanted Forest, and the Great Wizard.
If you aren't set on a themed hotel, you have the alternative of buying your park tickets separately and booking accommodation in Castelnuovo del Garda or Peschiera del Garda. If you aren't traveling by car, it's ideal to choose a hotel near the Peschiera del Garda train station (such as Hotel Garden). This allows you to easily take advantage of the free shuttle bus service that runs between the station and the park.

Most attractions belong to the Fantasy category. Younger children can explore (among others) Peppa Pig Land and Prezzemolo Land, Nonno Pig's Little Train, Baby Corsaro, Baby Cavalli, Baby Pilota, or Baby Canoe.

The bravest, who want to feel the adrenaline, can try Blue Tornado, Magic House, Raptor, Oblivion, Space Vertigo, or Shaman.

Legoland Water Park
Spread over an area of 15,000 m2, Legoland is located inside the Gardaland amusement park and is the first LEGO-themed water park in Europe. Being designed primarily for families with children, it includes themed areas and interactive water games.
Inside Legoland Park is also Miniland - an area where the most important monuments of Italy are built from over 4 million LEGO pieces. To discover them, you can walk among them or navigate on the LEGO River Adventure. You will encounter, among others, the Colosseum in Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark's Campanile in Venice, St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, the Duomo, and also the skyscrapers of Milan.
Gardaland Sea Life Aquarium
Gardaland Sea Life Aquarium is located outside the park, very close, about a 10-minute walk away. It is the first themed aquarium in Italy, with 40 tanks containing over a hundred species from Lake Garda, but also from seas and oceans. Among its attractions are the oceanic tunnel with transparent walls, the new room dedicated to marine mimicry, and the aquarium with interactive activities. To visit the aquarium, you will need about 1 hour and a half.
To keep up to date with the attraction schedules, permitted height limits, the shows taking place, and estimated waiting times at various queues, we recommend downloading the official Gardaland app from Google Play or the App Store.
