How to Get from Venice to Gardaland?
The distance from Venice to Gardaland is approximately 140 km (roughly equal to the distance from Milan to Gardaland). For transport, you can use the train or a rental car.
Train
You can travel from Venice to Gardaland by train, departing from Santa Lucia Station. Most trips involve changing trains in Verona, but there are also a few direct trains. The total travel time to Peschiera del Garda is 1.5-2 hours, and ticket prices start from €13.30.
From the Peschiera del Garda station, you will need to take a free bus that will get you to Gardaland in about 5 minutes. The bus runs every 30 minutes on days when the amusement park is open. The first run is 30 minutes before opening time, and the last run is 30 minutes after the park closes.
Rent a Car
Another option for getting from Venice to Gardaland is to rent a car. This will be useful strictly outside the lagoon, as car access is forbidden almost everywhere within the city (see also the article on transport in Venice). Parking at the amusement park will cost you €7/ day (with online reservation) or €10/ day (standard price).
