Milan Airports
The city of Milan has three airports that serve it. These are:
- Linate Airport
- Orio al Serio Airport
- Malpensa Airport
Linate Airport
Linate Airport is one of the busiest airports in northern Italy. Of the three airports, it is the closest to Milan, located in the eastern part, just 7 km from the Central Station.
Transportation from Linate Airport to Milan is done by shuttle bus, metro, or taxi.
Orio al Serio airport
Orio al Serio Airport is located near the city of Bergamo and is situated about 45 km from Milan, towards the northeast.
Transfer services from Bergamo Airport to Milan are provided by shuttle bus, a combination of bus + train, or taxi.
Malpensa Airport
Milan-Malpensa Airport is the largest airport in the Lombardia region, being the second largest airport in Italy after Rome's Fiumicino Airport.
Among the airports near Milan, Malpensa is the farthest, being about 50 km to the northwest.
Transportation from Malpensa to Milan can be done by shuttle bus, train, or taxi.
From this airport, there is also the option of a shuttle bus transfer to Turin.
