How to Get from Bergamo Airport to Milan City Centre?
Orio al Serio Airport
Many airlines, especially low-cost carriers, operate flights to Milan, landing at Orio al Serio Airport, (BGY), located 4 km from Bergamo, in the Lombardy region. This is one of the largest airports in Italy, and its official name is Il Caravaggio International Airport, named after the famous painter who spent his childhood in this area.

Bergamo Airport - Milan Transportation

Terravision shuttle buses provide direct transfer services between Bergamo Airport and Milano Centrale (Milan Central Station).
The buses leave from platform no. 4, and travel time is approximately 1 hour.

The Airport Bus Express coaches are operated by Autostradale. They depart from platforms 2, 3, and 4 in front of the Arrivals area at Bergamo Airport and take you to Milano Centrale Station in about 1 hour.

2. Bus and Train
Another transport option is to take a bus from the airport to the Bergamo train station and then a train to Milan.
The local Airport Bus operated by ATB (Azienda Trasporti Bergamo) connects Orio al Serio Airport with the Bergamo train station. The ticket price is €4, and the travel time from the airport to the train station is 15 minutes.
From Bergamo train station, you will then need to take a train to Milano Centrale. There are multiple trains per day (you can check the schedule on Trenitalia.com). The train journey takes between 50 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes, with ticket prices starting at €6.1.
3. Taxi
In front of the arrivals area, you will also find the taxi station. The fare for a trip is fixed, set by local authorities, and a ride from Bergamo Airport to Milan will cost €128.
4. Car Rental
There is also the option of renting a car. This alternative is convenient if you plan to visit tourist attractions in the surroundings of Milan or head to the Aosta Valley resorts or the Dolomites.
Most car rental company counters are located at Bergamo airport, after you exit the control and baggage area, to the left. After completing the rental formalities, you will need to take a free shuttle bus from platform 8 (the last one), which will take you to the P3 parking lot, designated for rental cars.
