How to Get from Palermo Airport to the City?
Palermo Airport, named Falcone-Borsellino or Palermo-Punta Raisi, is the second busiest airport in Sicily in terms of passenger traffic, after Catania Airport. It is also the ninth-largest airport in Italy.
The airport is located approximately 35 km west of the city of Palermo, in the Punta Raisi area.
The transfer from the airport to Palermo city center can be done by shuttle bus, local bus, train, or taxi. You can also rent a car from the airport or book a private transfer.
1. Shuttle Bus
The company Prestia e Comandè provides shuttle bus transport from the airport to Palermo city center. The bus station is located on the right side of the terminal exit.
The journey from the airport to the Central Station (Palermo Centrale) takes about 50 minutes.
The price of a ticket purchased online is:

- Children 2-12 years: €4

2. Train
There is a direct train from the airport to Stazione Centrale in Palermo.

3. Taxi
The taxi companies present at the airport are Cooperativa Trinacria and Cooperativa Autoradio Taxi.
The fares are fixed, established by the Municipality of Palermo:
