How to Get from Fiumicino Airport to Vatican City?
Fiumicino Airport (the largest airport in Italy and the main airport in Rome) is located about 30 km from the Vatican. To get from Fiumicino to the Vatican, you have several transport options available: shuttle buses or combinations of trains and metro. If you prefer more speed and comfort, you can book a private transfer or take a taxi.
Shuttle Bus
Two transport companies - Terravision and SIT Bus - offer shuttle bus services between Fiumicino Airport and the Vatican. The coaches depart from Terminal 3 of the airport.
Tickets are valid for all of that specific company's departures on that day, though priority is given only to the reserved time slot. It is recommended to arrive at the bus 15 minutes before departure.
Terravision
Terravision buses cover the distance between Fiumicino Airport and the Vatican in about 45 minutes. The stop near the Vatican is on Via Crescenzio.
